Refund policy

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you may return it - or a portion of it - within 14 days from the date of delivery.

HOW TO MAKE A RETURN

To comply with the withdrawal period, simply send a notification regarding your intent to exercise the right of withdrawal before the 14th day to the following email address: shop@novitahome.it

Note: The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to natural persons (consumers). Therefore, all purchases made using a VAT number (P.IVA) are excluded.

You are responsible for organizing the return shipment of the product(s) independently. You may choose any courier at your discretion. The return shipment must be sent to:

In the event of a defective or damaged product, we will arrange for a replacement part to be sent and provide all necessary instructions. Please ensure that items are returned in new, unused condition, with original tags and inside the original packaging received at delivery. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted or refunded.

The Right of Withdrawal is subject to exceptions and exclusions regulated by Legislative Decree 21/2014 and applies exclusively to consumers (B2C).


REFUNDS

Refunds will be processed within 5 working days from the date the return is received at our warehouse, using the same payment method used for the original order.

  • Credit Card: The refund will be visible within approximately 72 hours and will appear on your next statement. Processing times may vary depending on your card issuer.

  • PayPal: The refund will be made directly to the account used for the order.

  • Bank Transfer: The Customer must provide their IBAN code, BIC/SWIFT code, and the name of the account holder.


RETURN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Items (both furniture and home decor) must not have been damaged and/or altered in any way.

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging, including instructions and all accessories (screws, washers, etc.).

  • Returns can be shipped inside the original NOVITÀ HOME box or another suitable packaging, which must be carefully sealed with adhesive tape.

NOVITÀ IMPORT reserves the right to reject and not refund returns that have not been authorized and/or shipped in compliance with all conditions indicated in this policy. If a non-compliant or unauthorized return is received, you will be contacted by our Customer Service and will need to arrange for the collection of the item at your own expense.


DAMAGED AND/OR INCORRECT ITEMS

In the event that you have received a defective or incorrect product, please contact our Customer Service immediately, providing photographic evidence of the damaged item or the error.

If the return is approved, NOVITÀ HOME will book a free collection and provide instructions for returning the package. If the customer chooses to ship the item at their own expense without contacting our Customer Service first, we will not be able to reimburse the costs incurred.


NON-RETURNABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

For ceramic products that arrive with defects or breakage, we will handle the shipment of replacement pieces (at our expense) or issue a direct refund.

For reasons other than defects/breakage, we cannot accept returns on these items, primarily for hygiene reasons (as items in this category could be used and then returned without visible damage).

  • All products belonging to the "Mediterraneo" line and the "TABLE" (TAVOLA) category (plates, glasses, cutlery, charger plates, etc.) cannot be returned.

  • Items not returned in their original condition.

  • Items not returned within 30 calendar days from the delivery date.

  • Items showing signs of use.

  • Returns that do not comply with one or more conditions stated in our return policy.


WARRANTY AND PRODUCT NON-CONFORMITY

All products sold on NOVITÀ HOME are covered by the Legal Guarantee of Conformity provided by Articles 128-135 of the Consumer Code. This Legal Guarantee is reserved for consumers.

Excluded from the Legal Guarantee are:

  • Products repaired, modified, or altered in any way by the Customer.

  • Products with defects caused by accidental events, user responsibility, or use of the product that does not comply with its intended use and/or technical documentation/instructions.
